The
United States Virgin Islands, are a true paradise.
St. Croix, 84 sq miles, is the largest
of the United States Virgin Islands, and lies
35 miles south of St. Thomas. St. Croix’s
outstanding feature is Buck Island Reef National
Monument.
St.
John, 19 sq miles, is the smallest and quietest.
The island is ten minutes by ferry east of St.
Thomas. Cruz Bay National Park has crystal clear
waters and an underwater marked trail for snorkellers.
St.
Thomas is east of Puerto Rico, and west
of the British Virgin Islands. This 32 sq mile
island has a population of 50,000. The capital
city, Charlotte Amalie, is situated on its southern

US dollar is the currency in the US Virgin Islands.
The average daytime temperature is 78 degrees
in winter and 82 in summer. The US Virgin Islands
